This year, for the 10th anniversary of the Gamma Ball Rally, Silver Lining brought two teams together to support SpecialEffect and Action Through Enterprise.
Starting in Calais, our teams embarked on an epic journey through Amsterdam and Hamburg, with the finishing line in Copenhagen. Along the way, we faced thrilling challenges and enjoyed exciting games. But first, let's meet the members of the Silver Lining team.
Team 1: Plastic Fantastic, arrived in style in their pink Thunderbird, meticulously wrapped and designed to resemble the iconic Barbie car from the film. Their outfits were just as fabulous and changed throughout the three-day event, showcasing Ken and Barbie's most iconic looks.
Team 2: took a different approach, channeling the Addams Family with their unique limo adorned with special wheel trims. The car was truly one-of-a-kind, complete with crows perched on the bonnet and cobwebs decorating the interior. The team's outfits were equally impressive, especially on Wednesdays!
Both teams set off for sunny France, arriving in Calais on Tuesday evening to rest up before the action-packed first day on Wednesday.
Experience the thrill of the Gamma Ball Rally as participants gather eagerly at the stunning Chateau De Covove, fueling up with a delicious breakfast before the adventure begins. From picturesque coastal towns to vibrant cities, each day is filled with adrenaline-fueled driving, delicious food, and memorable experiences.
Day one kicks off with a drive to the coastal town of Knokke, where participants indulge in a mouthwatering BBQ at the River Woods Beach Club and engage in The Beach Olympics. The excitement continues as they explore the vibrant city of Amsterdam, immersing themselves in its rich cultural heritage.
On day two, the rally takes a virtual twist as participants test their racing skills at the legendary Austrian Red Bull Ring. After an exhilarating session, they make their way to Hamburg where a lively Beer Pong Bar awaits, adding a fun twist to their journey.
On day three, the participants embark on a photo scavenger hunt, capturing hidden gems along the route to Copenhagen. The hunt concludes with a grand finale at a Gala dinner, where participants come together to contribute to meaningful causes through a charity auction.
Silver Lining struck gold with not just one, but two impressive awards. They snatched the coveted title of "Best Dressed" for their stunning Addams Family Theme. And that's not all! Their exceptional skills and dedication earned them the first place in The Gamma Ball Rally. All thanks to the incredible team, Plastic Fantastic.
