Job responsibilities:
- Managing customer accounts assigned. This will include but is not limited to responding customer requests for quotations and queries timely and efficiently, dealing with customer escalations and holding service review meetings with the client either at regular intervals or dynamically depending on the client and business need.
- Working within the AM Team with pricing and proposals for key customers
- Management of higher value accounts
- Liaising with internal teams to achieve departmental end goals
- Managing correspondence from clients via telephone, email, and tickets
- Assisting with administrative work as required
- Scheduling Client Quarterly reviews with appropriate AM Team attendees
- Achieving monthly and quarterly KPI’s
- Attending industry events and expos with the AM/Sales Team as required
- Assisting with the training of any junior members of the Account Management team
- To identify and develop new business opportunities with assigned customer accounts.
- To engage new business opportunities provided by the business, via colleague referral or marketing activities, and then to develop those opportunities.
- To complete and certify where appropriate product specific training.
- To recommend new solutions to the business based on customer needs.
- Assisting/ providing pre-Sales support to the New Business sales team.
Person Specifications
- Account management and business development experience
- Strong communication skills
- Understanding of IT and Telecommunications
- Will have worked to achieve targets on a regular basis
- Has a full UK Driving License
