Due to expansion, we are looking for a dynamic Sales Executive to focus on actively prospecting, qualifying and identifying solutions for new business customers & seeking out additional business opportunities.

Job responsibilities:

Your role will include booking clients meetings for a senior member of the sales team and eventually sell Silver Linings products and services, predominately to the SME market, working with a unique portfolio of innovative Cloud, IT, Voice and Data based solutions.

  • Build and manage opportunity pipeline from several channels
  • Support the marketing team to drive and convert lead-generation campaigns
  • Use appropriate sales techniques to sell our products and services to business customers
  • Accept and respond to enquiries from both potential and existing customers, to provide customers with IT infrastructure consultancy, advise on corporate IT planning and design business continuity plans
  • Liaise with internal teams, including Marketing, Customer Operations and Support
  • Attend internal and external company events to build relationships and generate opportunities
  • Completing administrative work, as required
  • Managing a portfolio of lead-generation sources
  • Effectively prioritise time management to ensure a balanced pipeline
  • Responsible for creating client relationships at all levels
  • Ensure that Silver Lining is the “Preferred Supplier” with the selected clients

  • Ensuring activity is recorded correctly and updated in the CRM
  • Telephone manner and enough talk time per day
  • Consistent achievement of targets & KPIs set out by the company and management

About You:

You must be a highly organised and motivated individual who uses your initiative to work effectively, thrives in a fast-paced environment, is passionate about delivery, and is willing to go the extra mile.

  • No prior sales experience is required however, this is an advantage
  • Must be motivated, results-driven and always driven to succeed
  • Be able to work with other team members and departments to execute projects
  • Have excellent communication, and management skills and act in a professional manner
  • Be receptive and enthusiastic about technical innovation, with and have the willingness to learn
  • Be capable of working under pressure and able to meet targets and deadlines
  • Excellent telephone manner to converse and negotiate at all levels of management within the customers' organisation
  • Competent written skills are essential to writing effective proposals and reports, dealing with written enquiries, plan jobs using Microsoft Office suite & CRM tools
